Capstan Contractors Ltd began operating in the Bristol area in 1995, providing a groundworks service to a limited number of contractors.
The company has expanded its Groundworks and Civil Engineering operations gradually over the last 22 years under the excellent leadership, direction and dedication of Andy Deverson and his vastly experienced team, enabling them to continue serving the increasing number of customers requiring a Groundworks and Civil Engineering service in the Bristol and surrounding counties.
The shares have now been acquired by Steve Mead and John Reed who look to continue the great service Capstan has provided over the last 22 years along with its very experienced founder Andy Deverson. In all, the experience in our field within directorship and management total in excess of 100 years.
As the company has evolved, it has developed a structure which ensures its high standards are maintained and that all our operatives are highly skilled and experienced in their respective disciplines.
Each one of our sites are allocated a competent supervisor to control site production and act as a point of contact for our customer. They can respond at short notice to our customer’s demands and attend all necessary site meetings, with back up from our Head Office only a phone call away.
Our Contracts Managers and Directors pay regular visits to our sites to ensure that our customer’s needs are being met, and to provide a management back up to the team.
At Head Office, our personnel are available to provide a fast on and off hire service for all our items of plant and any other items that our customers might require.
Our Estimating and Buying Department are available to ensure prompt estimating and delivery of materials to Site.
Our Commercial Department carry out regular visits to Site to measure and complete fair and accurate valuations of work carried out.
